We grow our heirloom hardneck garlic using 100% natural practices on our small farm - zero sprays, zero treatments. Just rich soil, fall planting, and patience!
We harvest the garlic scapes in late spring (get them while they last!) and pull the bulbs in mid-summer, then cure them slowly for several weeks on handmade wood and wire racks with steady airflow. This process brings out their full flavor and helps them store well through the season.
Our Chesnok variety is known for its warm, mellow character with nuanced depth—the kind that rounds out soups, roasts, and sauces. Svea has a brighter, punchy garlic flavor with floral undertones.
Both pair sooo well with mushrooms—whether sautéed, roasted, or blended into broths and spreads!
